Community Liaison

In 1974 George joined Henry E. Colton in what was then a New England Life & Pension firm. In 1980, George became a Managing Partner, and the rest is history. For more than 47 years he worked, led, and grew the firm into a wealth management powerhouse, with focused leadership in financial planning, investment management, insurance, corporate retirement planning, and more. While George is no longer involved in the day-to-day operations of CGF, his precedence has formed the permanent footings of what the firm is—molding the values and culture of CGF for generations to come.

These days, George enjoys traveling and spearheading philanthropic endeavors with his wife, Barbara. The two enjoy living what they always felt was their purpose: focused on improving our community’s access to education and housing opportunities for the underprivileged. When these two aren’t trailblazing, you can rest assured they are living their best life as active grandparents and parents.
