G. Tate Groome, CFP®, CLU®, AEP®
2019 spurred a process for advancement within Colton Groome's culture. In addition to regularly scheduled Continuing Education (CE) studies, our team went above and beyond to become the best in their fields, driving for individual educational expansion.
At the end of 2019, Co-CEO, G. Tate Groome added the AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner®) designation to his credentialing repertoire. This designation is a graduate-level specialization in estate planning, awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to those that meet stringent requirements in experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character. Professional estate planners are deemed to be committed to a team-oriented approach, the basis of Colton Groome & Company's core values.
In addition to gaining a new specialty, Tate also spent the majority of 2019 editing, refreshing, and working to re-release his book, ...The Best Policy. The Second Edition of The Best Policy includes new chapters focusing on life settlements, as well as the importance of private-equity firms entering the life insurance market.
