Amy Gillen

Amy joined the Colton Groome team in September of 2019. She brings over 30 years of underwriting and insurance-specific work experience to the firm.
Amy graduated from North Carolina State University in 1992 and holds her life, health, long-term care licenses, and holds a Series 6 and 63. She works with Tate Groome in our Insurance division, overseeing all new policy matters and processes.
Amy and her husband, Jim, live in Hendersonville, NC. They have two grown boys and one granddaughter living in Virginia. In her spare time, Amy enjoys quilting, sewing, knitting, and volunteering at her church.
