Laura Greene joined Colton Groome in April of 2018, as the Client Experience Coordinator. When you came into the Colton Groome office, you were greeted by her contagious smile and warm personality. Her enthusiastic work ethic earned her a promotion and dedicated position with Tate, in our Insurance Division.
Laura is a Western North Carolina native from Waynesville. She graduated from Tuscola High School, gained an Associate’s degree from Southwestern Community College in Civil Engineering & Surveying Technology, and earned her BSBA from King University in Bristol, TN (previously King College).
While Laura previously worked as an Engineering Technician, and later as an Operations Manager of a local retail store, she gained an interest in the financial world. After taking a Dave Ramsey course, and altering her entire perspective on personal financial management, she felt a strong desire to share her new knowledge with others, viewing her career change from engineering to finance as a jump toward her dream field.
In Laura’s spare time, she enjoys playing with her Poodle (Maizie), reading, volunteering with Mountain Projects, and cooking extravagant meals with her husband (Michael) and son (Reuben).
