The Chartered Financial Analyst is one of the highest levels of finance-related qualifications. Congratulations, Matthew, on reaching this professional milestone!
Over the past few years, Mr. Donohue has toiled and labored to study and pass all three levels of his CFA exams—each requiring extensive study (a suggested 300+ hours of study per each exam level)—all to prove his skillset as an advanced investment analyst, including the ability to make key financial decisions.
Throughout this time, Mr. Donohue continued to showcase dedicated client servicing ability in his full-time role as Colton Groome’s Manager of Trading & Investment Research; while maintaining his most important role as a husband to his wife, Whitney, and father to their three children.
Matt joined the Colton Groome Team in 2018, with an initial goal of building out our internal investment trading platforms and systems. His analytical approach in all he does-largely due to his background in accountancy and auditing-has continued to magnify Colton Groome’s ability to accurately report and analyze key investment options for our clients. Every day he enhances our investment policies, trading, and fiduciary standards.
Matthew’s CFA accreditation is a GLOBALLY recognized qualification—respected in more than 162 markets. *
As a requirement, the Matthew had to prove years of professional experience in economics, investment analysis, financial reporting, and portfolio management. The CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct require the CFA charter to:
- Place integrity of the investment profession and the interests of clients ahead of their own personal interests
- Maintain independence and objectivity
- Act with integrity, competence, and respect
- Maintain and continue their professional education
- Disclose conflicts of interests and legal matters
